* Turn the TV on.
* Press the {MENU} {MENU} {8} {SELECT} buttons on the remote.
* The Service Menu will be displayed.
* Use the {UP} {DOWN} buttons to select items.
* Use the {LEFT} {RIGHT} to change the data.
* Press the {EXIT} button to exit the Service Menu.

* Turn the TV off.
* Press and hold the {INPUT} button on the TV then press {POWER}.
* Hold both buttons until the TV powers on
with the Service Menu displayed.
* Use the {UP} {DOWN} buttons to select items.
* Use the {LEFT} {RIGHT} to change the data.
* Press the {EXIT} button to exit the Service Menu.

* Turn the TV off.
* Press {POWER} & {INPUT} buttons on the TV for more than 3 sec.
* The Service Menu will be displayed.
* The letter “P” indicates picture and “A” indicates audio.
* Use the {UP} {DOWN} buttons to select items.
* Use the {LEFT} {RIGHT} to change the data.
* Press the {EXIT} key to exit the Service Menu

METHOD 3
I have used this on JVC sets from 1995:
Set the clock to 3:21 AM.
Start the clock as you normally would but press MUTE while “Thank you”
is flashing.
Press MENU up or down just after MUTE.
Use UP/ DOWN to select options and LEFT/ RIGHT to adjust. The settings
are automatically saved when you exit.

  • Turn TV off
    Press: MUTE 1 8 2 POWER
    TV will power up in service mode and GAMMA GAIN1 will be displayed on
    the screen
    Use VOL+ and VOL - to select an item
    Use MUTE and the MENU to adjust
    Use ADD to save the settings

    Press SLEEP P.STD MUTE
